Playful alphas

Here's another photo from Tierpark Sababurg, where the alpha female and male (in the center of the picture) are being in a generally playful mood, and one of the lower-ranking wolves to the left joins in.
This took place when the pack is dissolving right after some rallying. The alpha female, usually very rough and aggressive, is initiating a lot of play these days. However, she still keeps the omega down and picks on him.

I chose to upload this photo because it portrays best what the pack is all about these days. Rather relaxed... still.
