This is a pencil portrait of House Number 316, an original design of mine, with various details explaining the exterior. This is, of course, a two-story home with details typical of craftsman bungalows, which were often smaller one and half story homes. I use many of these details and design concepts on my other home designs. I even give some significance to porch plants and landscape plants. I equate outdoor living with good living, so porches usually figure prominently in my designs. Hopefully, this sketch might serve some educational purposes for some of you. Enjoy!
Technical: Pencil drawing, about 12 inches across, drawn from imagination "first shot" (no tracing over a rough outline drawing, no computer model, blah blah.) This is an original design for a home, not an existing home!
