So, all in all, I tried out different things with these ponies. Tried out a lot more realistic techniques and shading.
Verdict?: Not a fan! I went through some intense soul-searching this year while I was in the hospital, I got a lot of critiques and sometimes hate, on my style, and that it was too bright and there were a lot of things wrong about it. But uh. I think I prefer it that way!
Doesn't hurt to try something new... but from now on, I am going to do what I want to do.
